PrivatBank’s charity program helped raise the necessary funds to save the lives of 5 children with congenital heart defects.

The program, launched by PrivatBank last March, collected over 450,000 USD to pay for the tools and operations to save the children.

PrivatBank formed the program in partnership with the Ukrainian Foundation and the leading cardiac hospitals in Ukraine to help fund operations for children born with heart disease.

Berdichevsky Military Hospital received important medicine and medical equipment thanks to donations from PrivatBank’s charity campaign.

PrivatBank donated more than 19,000 USD to purchase the necessary medical provisions, such as medicine, sterilizer for medical tools, and UV lamps.

The Hospital treats more than two thousand war veterans every year.

Artem Martynyuk underwent successful heart surgery thanks to donations made possible by PrivatBank and its clients. PrivatBank raised more than 60,700 UAH for the operation which saved the baby under its “Immaculate Heart” campaign to help children with congenital heart disease.

Irina Martynyuk, the child’s mother, said,”We do not have that kind of money, we live on the salary of my husband and I am left at home to care for the child.”

PrivatBank has helped save the lives of many children like Artem through its charity efforts which raise money for children born with heart disease.
